It's a pretty easy read and although the translation is often quite bad (still readable) it's fast which is important in such a slow novel. There are hints of romance but no actual romance, he gains money but always has to donate it, he gets items from the system but it's probably been over 100 chapters since getting them and they haven't been used.The only real form of progression in the novel is the amount of people he knows and the skills he gets but none of it feels like it's truly leading anywhere other than to repeat the same arcs but replacing one skill with another to make sure the novel hits a chapter count in the thousands.Despite all that I do like some of the characters and it would be nice to see how their relationships progress but that would probably take years so I'm not sure if I'll wait.
