I'll give a mid rating. At first, it was pretty entertaining, and I liked the premise. However, the ML started to become very annoying, and I ended up skipping a lot of scenes with him. He's not well-written and doesn't really add anything to the plot. The FL herself is quite interesting.Why?Spoiler
The ML is not well developed. His character is flat and one-dimensional, and the ML keeps interrupting intense and important scenes because he doesn't want the FL to prick her finger or something asinine.
More spoilers, but he straight up stops time to interrupt important moments, and the book goes from an intense and interesting scene to just two characters flirting. It completely breaks the flow of the story and quickly becomes annoying. With over halfway through the book, I'm not convinced by the romance.
[collapse]Overall, the face-slapping is satisfying; the plots are interesting and move fast. There is a lot of variety to her plans, but I feel like the whole book can be improved if they just removed the ML altogether.
