Ok, I won't lie, I picked this novel mainly because of its beautiful illustration. Who does not love it? I can look at it all day long. (Salivating). I got high expectation because of it. And the introduction didn't let me down. It is not your typical apocalypse story as it does not focus on land instead it focuses more on what happen in the ocean.Apparantly our MC is autistic. Don't worry it is not a spoiler. It will be explained in 1 or 2 chapter. He does not feel fear or other emotions but can mimic them stiffly from a movie.BUT there is a lot of contradiction where as I said before he does not feels fear but he fear of dying. What? I liked the plot around when he found ML but as it goes on it turns into food findings/learning story. I know its necessary since they are not in land but I just feel that they have nothing much to do. The story is not engaging and I quickly lost interest in it.
