No explicit smut follows a cut to black with a few suggestive lines before and/or after to fill in some blanks format. ML/original MC relationship in 'book' is very much 'rape' and 'r*pe victim becomes lover' love/hate toxic type of relationship, but this does not have any detailed descriptions just a outline of events given. Between our ML/transmigrated MC there is really only one instance of strong dubcon. The first time ML/MC have s*x MC is drunk/under the effect of an aphrodisiac and the ML 'gives in to temptation' or whatev. MC can't remember anything the next morning, but realises that they have had interc**rse and feels taken advantage of. ML halfheartedly apologises, but is like do you remember and it is a bit victim blamey bc eventually MC remembers that he 'initiated' things and was like well then how embarrassing
[collapse]I generally really loved this novel. I love a sweet dumb little wife being pampered. This pairing is fun too bc there is a couple instances where ML/MC dynamic switches due to circumstances and it is delightful.There is a politics going on in the background of this, but it is not really the focus. The politics had a few points that I didn't understand/ didn't line up, but it didn't really effect the story or my enjoyment of it.
