The novel may seem a bit slow moving to some, but I find that the slow pace brings the reader deeper into the story. The translation is great, which is exactly what you want for a story of this caliber. Although I recognize others saying the plot is “tropey” I believe the execution is what matters and that is where this novel excels.

You can’t take away zimmer corp from Jon in one chapter, and then 50 chapters later forget what you wrote! I have no problem paying for a story, but if you can’t keep your crap straight then it’s no longer a story, and more indicative of novice rambling. Fix it and pay attention!!
