I absolutely loved the first arc (CEO). I love a good Gary Sue MC but it’s often cringey how extreme it gets, but it was done perfectly here. The MC is willing and actively initiates affection to the ML, and he is genuine beyond just completing a task. ML has a mental illness that is fully fleshed out, explained and he willingly makes himself get treatment. Their codependency is backed with actual affection and I loved seeing all the stolen moments they got to themselves. Arc 1 has a special place in my heart and I will definitely reread to see them again.In arc 2 we still have some of the development we got from arc 1. Unfortunately I don’t think it holds up as nicely as arc 1 did. Everything after that became a brainless Gary Sue moment filled with lust between MC and ML.
