I had really high hopes for this series, to stand out among the bunch of creepypastas that pass off as ancient settings series with female lead. Woe be me for I stumbled upon the ultimate trap.The word count padding in this series makes me pity the hard working TL. 75 chapters in, and essentially, there has been one scene with significant progress in story. I have come across slow burns and such series which drag things out, but this absolutely takes the cake for ruining a pretty promising concept.I sincerely hope that the author will re-evaluate how to construct a plot in their next work, cuz they probably make good plots. It's the screenplay that sucks, in terms of cinematic terms. The only twists or surprises here are how irrelevant information and scenes get played out. This series deserves a pad out of 5 rating.This series is NOT Mango approved.
