Our MC is confined in the annex and she spends her peace life with her servants, painting, and with minor interactions with her family.
[collapse]However, genre changes to tragedy as the minor characters starts to appear more and information of what happen to our MC within her household unfolds. It's still a good read.SpoilerYoungest adopted daughter was manipulated by maid and condemns our MC while appearing as an innocent girl.
All brothers participated in labeling her as a villainess, never taking her side, hitting MC, and threatening MC's life.
Father does nothing.
[collapse]Then the phase the I didn't like was the redemption phase. Our MC is a passive character that doesn't want revenge so another side character does it for her. However, that side character is so unlikable and takes a lot of scene time.SpoilerThe 2nd brother is the side character that is hypocritical and breaks the MC with his words and "advice". He is the one of the primary reason our MC views herself as a villainess. He is a manipulative and heartless; then all of a sudden he wants to make up 11 years of ab*se and abandonment by constant annoying her with visits and apologizes. However, he did remove the evil youngest adopted daughter to study abroad.
[collapse]The romance phase seems like an average villainess romance. I got bored so I skimmed.SpoilerCrown prince wants to marry MC. 2nd brother disapproves. Another noble son appears, Adin, that seems to be in the running as ML. Finally her painting is coming back into the story as Adin and Crown Price are both interested.
