The Little Ginseng is Super Sticky Chapter Completed Discussion

Before delving into this story, it's essential to note that, despite having "fantasy" as a genre, the narrative doesn't revolve around that aspect, and there isn't much suspense. The author herself confirms that, in reality, suspense is merely a necessary and complementary element to promote character development and is, at most, mildly mysterious.

MC is a person of simplicity, doing only what he wants and caring only for those he deems important. I don't see anything wrong with it, considering MC grew up having to take care of his clan as the only ginseng spirit in thousands of years capable of transforming into a human.

On the other hand, ML is someone who has suffered a lot. His father didn't care enough, and his stepmother deceived him into believing she cared, while the stepsister he once loved only cared about inheriting his father's company. He then entered the entertainment world, exacerbating the anorexia symptoms that had been emerging over the years.

The story focuses on MC and ML getting to know each other, developing their feelings, and overcoming themselves while caring for each other. It's evident that ML's illness doesn't miraculously disappear overnight; there are ups and downs, and it's only in the final chapters that ML shows some improvement. It was established from the beginning that the online hate ML received for being "fat, " even after leaving the entertainment industry, was a trigger.

Certainly, there were a few points I would have liked to see explored further, but from the outset, it was apparent that the focus would be on the romance of the protagonists and their development.

One reader once said …do not be influenced by what your readers want about the story. Readers wasn’t influencing you…readers are just eager readers…wanting to know what happens next…and wanting to have a happy ending of the 2 main characters , because life is full of stress, problems and complicatio

This book had it all. Hit all the right spots, and there were many to hit - dark, light, broody, chirpy, simmering, harsh. Loved it.
