So this style of 'reborn as talent-less third rate villain who dies early in story' novel has been done to death. However, the thing this author does better than most others, is how they write the interactions between the MC and other characters (mainly girls). They're surprisingly well written and the dialogue is actually pretty humorous, most of the time. It's refreshing to read a proactive MC that doesn't try to avoid story characters and instead makes an effort to amend/strengthen the relationships. Of this novel isn't without flaws. It has the same fault as a lot of these 'reborn as villain' novels do. The original hero of the story is humble and unambitious, so our villain MC has to go out of his way to force feed the unworthy hero.
