The MC was so utterly lacking in qualities that make a good protagonist.

The thought of the MC being disgusted with himself for nearly killing bandits is so ludicrous when he proves what a shitty person he is when he nearly let a young girl be kidnapped. He even mentioned he had a clue of what may happen to her. This has got to be one of the worst MC I have ever read. And I usually am able to read a quite a bit before giving up on an MC but this one takes the cake with a shitty mindset.

I forgot how easily it's to torture someone like Aherry who has no family to back her up. Julie does so John won't harm her to the extent he does Sherry. She should have stayed with Carl. Hoping Sherry can at least tell that moron John why she cheated on him & about Shannon & other stuff so it's out
