D’arby is a character, that’s for sure. As Kakyoin said, he acts polite, but he’s mad. He was unattached to his brother's fall despite supposedly looking up to him; which in a story about blood is kind of a big deal. He turns his victims into living dolls kind of like Cars was sent to space, wishing to die. He doesn’t cheat or lie by his admission, although we’ll see how true that is. He feels like a cold and collected sociopath. I also think, assuming he’s truthful, his speech about the truth behind this island is interesting. A stand which is not his nor Dio’s is responsible, and according to the Speedwagon Foundation’s report and N'Doul, there are nine Egyptian gods. With Horse and 7 gods down, onto the 8th with the younger D’arby, there should only be one more standing. Therefore, I take it their power was used to create this island to help force their foes into playing this game. Which is being done through threatening to break Jotaro’s arm which he accessed through a moment of shock his soul felt. What they will play for souls is video games, something which I assume Kakyoin and Jotaro are practiced with. But I fear Joseph has never touched a video game before. Either way, I called D’arby elder by the game master before but this one is actually the game master.
By the way, his power to infuse souls into puppets reminds me of the Hobi Hobi no Mi in One Piece.
