This went in a direction I didn’t expect. I presumed the only currency involved would be souls, when Jotaro put his mother's soul on the line, I wasn’t surprised. In fact it was a darn good deal! If they lost she would die anyways, it was almost a free raise. But when Jotaro demanded, not his soul, but rather the secret of Dio’s stand, that’s where I was shocked. And so was our friend D’arby. I assumed he would be linked to the rules of his stand too but he didn’t even attempt to reject that kind of gambit. Instead we got a great breakdown scene. One of our friend D’arby trying to hold his pride close and call but he couldn’t utter the words. He literally broke down and went insane, that’s how fearsome Dio is. It was a good build up, good tension, and a good breakdown. And with that, they entered into a fight with one of the strongest stand users looking for information on Dio, almost lost as a group, and then left without information on Dio. That’s Stardust Crusaders for you, which is fine with me.
By the way, Iggy’s soul was never even brought up, he’s a member you guys!
