It’s an entertaining but infuriating read. The family drama is well written but there are serious problems with the leads.Spoiler
The FL is an otherwise intelligent and clever protagonist but despite a decade of training in evidence based medicine but once transmigrated she immediately starts practicing traditional Chinese medicine, performing non effective treatments and diagnosing non existing conditions. It’s head banging.
[collapse]SpoilerAs for the male lead, he’s a rapist and the novel is steadily ignoring that to reconsile him with the FL lead. Their first night together he violently r*ped the FL rather than have s*x with her, he preferred r*pe to s*x. But the novel is just going to give him a pass on that, because he has other good qualities.
