The slow burn is slow burning in this one. I was surprised it really took until the end of the story for Dohae to sort-of realize his feelings (kind of). But wow, San is a rare case of a sunny MC that is not that irritating. Sure, he has a flower garden for a brain, but he's not s*upid. Arguably too naive, but ultimately too adorable to really dislike.
A bit sad that it ended just when they've started to communicate though...
The writing was a bit confusing in that the perspective kept changing from person to person without notice. Sometimes, I couldn't tell who was speaking. Not the TL's fault though, because I read the original and it was indeed like that. But I did skim the TL and there were errors such as Dohae's name being put as "Gido Hae" or left as just "Prayer". Kim San's name was also used interchangeably in situations where other characters would affectionately call him by the nickname "San-ah" or "San-i". I might just be being picky but I thought "San-i" should be left as is due to it being a direct reference to the novel title.
The second half of the novel was also a rushed, but overall, not a very complicated plot.
