In my opinion, Arifureta is one interesting story.The first dungeon arc had a very good storyline and didn't forced the characthers to do something againsts their personalitys. Even the changes from Hajime's personality were made correctly. The encounter with Yue was also good (in a harem perspective, because we know how boring it could have been like in other harems storys). Also, it finished with a sense of accomplishment that you can't help but feel happy about how it turned.Spoiler
I'm counting when they exited together the first dungeon as the end of this arc

[collapse]I would reccomend it, since the first arc is what made the story interesting in the first place, and leave the decision to continue this or not for your own choice. Who knows, maybe you will not lose the motivation to continue it and will finish it to see how it ends?
