This story starts off with the protagonist getting betrayed and thrown into some impossibly hard dungeon, he has only 1 goal, and that is, to survive. But then the dungeon gets easy and he forgets everything that happened, becoming careless, carefree. The revenge plot ? Nope, he's too cool for that, he used to care only about surviving, but now he doesn't care about anything. His hair turns white and all of his equipment is black and of course he has a trench coat. The MC gets bored and decides to conquer all of the great dungeons, even though he asks for a reason to help anyone (but then accepts whatever bullsh*t reason to save them, then acting like a melodramatic teen in the process spewing sh*t about never accepting help from anyone or something and helps them more than is needed) and of course he gets a harem because girls fall in lvoe with him left and right, even though he's an apathetic douche with no personnality whatsoever, and even though he's supposed to be this really cool dude, he's basically walking through supposedly impossibly hard dungeons having carefree conversations with his harem, there's absolutely no tension. Oh and then he meets his classmates, and even though he said he didn't care about them, he actually does and instead of ignoring them, he gets really shocked when he sees them. Urgh, this whole novels stinks of SOA, a novel which is only a symptom, not even the cause. Japan's light novel readers (most of them anyway) have no taste and have only read one or two novels in their lives, never tasting actual quality while the authors are made to sh*t out as many low-quality novels as possible that stroke our lowest instincts, because they're easy to write.
