I don't mind the fact that the heroine is just a housewife, I even like it, I find that refreshing. What I don't like is that let's ignore the fact that in literally every paragraph there is a sentence to demean women, "because she is a woman she is s*upid, she has no capacity, she does not. don't know how to think... ”And when you finally compliment a woman, it gives something like“ even if it's a woman, she is... ”, not to mention it's normal“ that he is better than a woman afterwards. everything is a man ”. we're going to put all of this down to the fact that it's a novel that takes place in the 80s, in the middle of the countryside, while good even in novels that takes place in the middle ages I never read stuff a quarter so misogynist. What bothers me the most is that literally every time there is a problem in the novel it's caused by a woman, men are kind of great wise, sensible, stable, logical, think... so that women are old shrews, raving fools, causing trouble for nothing. Whenever someone has no value (lying, betraying, cheating, being ungrateful...) it is a woman, whenever someone does something bad (stealing, abandoning husband and child, rip off...) she is a woman. Every problem, every story, every bad deed is ALWAYS A WOMAN, NEVER A MAN. I can't help but think that all of this misogyny is the author's that is found in his writing.
