Male God Is Always Targeted Chapter Ar7 Discussion

I almost dropped this novel since Arc 1 (school life) was so meh and cringy. That arc's basically incoherent and all over the place.

Good for me that I persisted because arc 2 (ancient) and thereafter were better. The MC's personality was more settled, in the sense that author decided to have him as an immersive actor. And to be honest, it worked for me because when I read the story, it's like watching a drama series.

I also don't mind about the 'love at first sight' trope, since after reading the cringe way ML chased after MC in arc 1, I kinda don't want to watch it be replayed again lol.

ML was the standard black belly and possessive gong but I felt that he wasn't as boring as the reviews said. He was always in a state of constant exasperation and adoration so their relationship was quite amusing.

Another thing to note of that I felt made this novel different from another QTs was that some people who were supposed to be the original protagonists were redeemable. They might be annoying until the middle part of the arc but they'd change (and even became a CP stan)

PS: special mention to the translator. I laughed so hard when modern western slangs unexpectedly appeared in the chapters. Your word choices are so slay. Props to you 👏👏

This book has become increasingly boring, maybe it will later pick up again but right now, it’s a bore. When does Nolan get his memory back? His amnesia has dragged on for far too long now
