Have a great weekend everyone! I have some stuff to work on now, but it was nice interacting with everyone here.

Because of swords! In medieval settings, you can have short swords, long swords, curved swords, straight swords, thin swords, big swords, fat swords, bastard sword, pig swords, magic swords, and other swords and it won't feel out of place. Imagine carrying a sword in the modern world, you'll get arrested! The right to bear arms does not cover shopping for groceries with a long sword attached to your waist.

Eh? So nothing makes that setting interesting?
Lol, I actually dislike when author goes that route. It's like trying to make the MC too much of an awesome person compared to the actual residents.

Coz scifis popularity declined when isekai craze started. And magic is easy to get in a medieval like world. There are quite a bit of world war based ones too.
And most writers wont be able to write about stone age soooo

Then I remember Liam with his bullshit sword skills cutting their heads off instantly. He's so OP that it won't shock me if he can slice bullets and deflect lasers just like the MC of Nidome no Yuusha which used a bullet as a foothold mid air
