I felt almost the same way.
And the things of the grown up children wasn't rushed or anything Iwas just not ready. I felt I aged in the 3 days I read the story. It gave kinda like a callback feeling. Nostalgic like that.

I just wasn't ready for it. The 3rd son used to crawl at the beginning of the story and by the end you see the grown up businessman like that.

I felt the author could have ended with the main couple but this is a slice of life, and we get to see the children grow up. Not complaining.

But I wasn't ready for their marriages and old age and death of our couple is also seen. So the story kinda went the whole circle

Not sure I remember it right but I think the situation of her second marriage wasn't mentioned at all. Her divorce and re-marriage was almost at the end of the story so it seems that the author didn't elaborate on it. But it wasn't a love marriage on Xu Sheng Mei's side. She targeted, seduced and married the rich dude to maintain her status for face. Don't know if the rich dude really loves her or just in lust.

I agree, he was the most pitiful character in that story. I also felt sorry for the second brother's 2 other children having to put up with such a mother and sister, but at least they had their own happy ending thanks to having a caring rich uncle and aunt with connections. That said, it was almost painful reading about their childhood. The son and daughter (Sanni) have the most pitiful childhood among the Zhou children.

This is really one of  great back to the past, transmigration story so far.

It's very detailed. I know some would drop this when reading the first chapters saying it was too boring or lengthy but it all made sense.

All characters and the plot as well are all well written. I like how the ending included the summary of what happened to each characters.

The ML and FL lived till 90 and was very successful, it has 701 chapters and worth reading.

No, he never cheated on her. Its been a while since the last time I read it, so I forgot if he ever kicked that gold digger out of the company but it was clear he had no interest on her. But I think he did dismiss her from the company. (If I'm wrong about the dismissal, someone in the know please correct me.)

Plus, it wasn't like Er Ni was dumb and blind. Rumors were flying out everywhere to the point were I think I vaguely remember that even Er Ni's cousins in the area knew about it.

Er Ni made it quite clear to Wang Yuan early on in the marriage that if he ever mistreats her or cheats on her, she will divorce him. She wants (loves) him but she doesn't need him, completely different from those social climbers and gold digger girls. That's also part of the reason why she refused to quit being the account manager of her fourth aunt and uncle's business, even when she is also in charge of the account of her husband's factory. She doesn't care if it's more tiring to have two jobs, as she wants to have some degree of financial independence that doesn't depend on a job from her husband's company.

How was that? how ml reacted and how was her death? Did she die when her future self was born?

I'm not sure regarding her future self. It wasn't mentioned or perhaps the author forgot the timeline or I forgot about it but she died due to old age. On that day, her space disappeared. She told ML about it and knows her end is near so they called back all the kids with grandschildren for 'farewell'. She went in there bedroom to 'rest' after the farewell with ML on her side and knew it that was it and said she won't be alone and be with her. ML slept beside her(it didn't say he did something for himself but I think he hold on just for MC.) MC died first, then ML.

Was expecting for the opposite thing to happen during MTL since ML was older and MC didn't show much her affections to ML compare to ML.

Someone came in to check on them(either the kids or grandchildren) and found the situation and they mourned for their death.
