Basically, the Maktus name was cleared after saving the imperial palace from monsters that had suddenly appeared at the wedding.
Since the imperial knights from the capital had little experience dealing with monsters they were easily overwhelmed. Noah walked towards the emperor saying that Astria (their kingdom) was in a crisis due to the monsters attacking. Fortunately, his unit was very used to dealing with monsters, however the black knights were currently imprisoned. Emperor was suspicious and asked if Noah learned how to control the monsters, but Noah shrugged and replies that he has no idea what the emperor is talking about. The emperor then asked if he had foreseen this, but Noah just smiled.
They had no choice but to release the black knights lol. Emperor finally gave up and ordered Noah and the black knights to defend the castle.

Well yeah! There is some princess in the future and how did he managed to secretly in love or whatever with that princess and who is she anyway? and it was in the comment sections spoiler and even in patreon there is a princess mentioned in chapter 43 but i guess i am not sure it is true or not, only spoiler section argue over that so that's why i ask for a solid proof spoiler but damn this is so hot novel even in prologue;-):-*

Hello! I came across this novel's tl (thats still ongoing), since the raw is already complete I purchased both books Here are some more details from the story:
To start with, the emperor changed the law. Since the country is constantly at war, the emperor wanted to monopolize the power. As written, all the knights will now become part of the military force. Emperor explains while calmly drinking tea that since it is a time of frequent wars, it’s better to be quick and efficient. Those who do not agree will be considered as traitors. Apparently, Duke Maktus refused the order, as foreseen by the emperor. It was declared that the duke violated his decree and was then guilty of treason. Honestly this was just something the emperor wanted to happen so that he can accuse Noah of treason and get Adele lmao.
Additional lore for the story, if the head of the house commits treason, all members of the family are killed, if lucky they become slaves.
During this time Noah was busy somewhere else talking with those who were against the emperor’s order. Imperial knights came to Maktus territory and announced that the Maktus were traitors which surprised Adele.
She was taken to the imperial palace where she meets the emperor. The emperor then proposes to Adele and promises her that she will be safe here. She was his first love because Adele was the first person who saw him as someone not as a royal but just as himself and wants her to become the empress. okay sob story by a bland antagonist.
So yeah, Adele was cornered. If she refuses, she will be killed because of the treason committed by the head of the house.The princess comes to Adele and they have tea time together. Adele is uncomfortable especially since the last time she had tea with the princess, she was given an aphrodisiac in the tea.
She informs Adele that Duke Maktus was arrested. For Noah to live, he just has to be a loyal dog to the royal family. And according to the princess, the leash is called marriage. And so, the reason for her visit was to inform Adele of her marriage to Noah.
Adele says that Noah does not even love the princess which makes the princess angry. The princess knows very well that he doesn’t care for her but so what? At least now she can have him by her side. (She just sees him as a trophy husband with hot looks lmao)
Apparently, the tea Adele drank was drugged (ofc). It was an odorless poison but will only render Adele asleep for a few days. Princess says that no worries, she will be able to wake up soon, after her wedding with Noah that is. The emperor won’t be able to visit either her since he is busy dealing with the rebels that followed Noah. The last thing Adele saw before she fell asleep was the vase and the forget-me-not flowers on the table.Adele, after drinking the poisoned tea, had dreamt of the past long forgotten. She had met a young boy many years ago. Duke Maktus came to a nearby villa for summer vacation. However, their youngest son disappeared. The son that went missing was the young boy she met on the mountain beforehand where they talked a bit.
Anyways tldr, a few weeks had passed and there was a monster that attacked Adele. Noah came just in time as he just wanted to return her handkerchief she had given him before, but had difficulties in fighting the monster. If it continued, then Adele and him would be killed. He made a contract with black magic and accepted the power, however Adele’s memory of him will be forgotten in exchange.
When Adele woke up, forget-me-nots were blooming all around them. The scenery was very beautiful. The young boy held the forget-me-not in Adele's hand. The boy told her that when he becomes a knight, he promised to marry her.
Adele is still confused because she did not know who he was. The boy wanted her not to forget this moment. She doesn’t know why the boy who saved her suddenly he proposed. Adele wanted to repay him for saving her and asked for his name. The boy replied. She couldn’t get his name since there was a sudden ringing in her ear and her vision suddenly blurred.
Adele finally remembers who the boy was. It was Noah.

It has been like a year since I've read these novels ...from what I recall...
Noah has been in love with our FL for a LONG time (14 yrs or so..) so the person he loves has always been Adele. The emperor's sister (princess) is in love with Noah and tries to seduce him by stripping naked. He rejects her and walks away which insults the princess.I think later in the novels.... we discover later that Adele met Noah and the emperor met awhile ago when Noah was 12 (?), and I think Adele is like 17 (?) ...or something young... (teen years...). Where Adele's father was still alive.Adele forgets this encounter, because in order to save her from some monster, a young 12 year old Noah makes a pack with a some entity to give him power to save her but the price is she will never remember them meeting.
Adele does not remember but Noah does.In the past, both ML and Emperor meet and Adele and both fell in love with Adele at that time.At that time, Adele thinks the young boy is cute and tells him when he grows up he will be very handsome and will turn many lady's head. Which makes young Noah blush.
When they had met in the past, Noah claims by the time he was of age she should marry him.Unfortunately, Noah and his brother's mother promised the FL to the older brother which ticked off our ML. Adele has never loved the ML's brother as it was an arranged marriage by the families.Her life is dangerous as the Emperor wants our FL as well and tries to send Noah out to dangerous lands to battle strong armies of monsters to destroy Noah and his knights to get to Adele.Add to that, the Emperor's sister covets Noah and wants Adele out of the way.Noah marries Adele because of an old law that if the husband dies a brother can choose to take the place of the husband to take care of the family, etc. Also Noah inherit the title of Duke from his brother as he is next in line to the title.Noah takes advantage of that since he's wanted Adele and has been kept away due to his brother.The king later abolishes this law as he covets Adele and he wants to get our out of the marriage thinking she doesn't want it anymore.Adele grows to love Noah and the Emperor schemes of how to break them apart.Noah is the strongest of his black knights and also he's he's super human and power (from the past as well) ...if I recall.Adele - yep...has never been intimate with Noah's brother who can't provide her intimacy as he's always been sick.Adele actually is attracted to Noah so she's nervous around him.When the marry Noah builds her like a beautiful pond/garden area that she's always wanted, etc. as a gift and her attraction grows to love.Think there's some scene later that Adele recalls were she get's denied intimacy with Noah's brother. Adele can't sleep that night so she heads to their dark library to find a book.There she imagines Noah and touches herself. She really gets into it as she's never do this before. She's enjoying pleasure of her body for the first time when a voice asks her to continue. It's Noah who is behind the couch and was watching her all this time. Shocked, Adele watches Noah sit on the sofa and help her touch herself asking who's she's thinking of as she touches herself. Adele can't tell him she' thinking of him and he proceeds to touch her intimately helping her cry in pleasure and he kisses her on the sofa as he teacher her to touch him through his clothing and both are rubbing each other intimately.Noah offers to help her more if she needs him and he never new his sister in law is so sexy. Emperor doesn't want his kingdom to be overtaken so frees Noah and his knights to save the empire and never will interfere with their marriage again and also takes back the accusation of treason in front of nobles who were there at first to witness the Emperor's marriage or something.Smut was not too shabby.Sorry, that's all I remember.
