Sixth Arc
This time it's a modern world where the casts are all stars in the entertainment industry. The previous host was dating the SML during their four years of university and the SFL used to be her friend. The SFL was jealous of the previous host, so once they graduated, the SFL relied on her family which is one of the four powerful families of the city they live in to suppress the previous host and make the SML dump her for the SFL, because she used her family to make him popular. The SFL becomes popular with her family power and makes the SML popular, becoming the two best actors for the year. The previous host discovers that she is actually the real daughter of the powerful family and tries to reconnect with them, but SFL finds out and kills the previous host with gangsters. The MC takes over, goes to a job at a shoot where she is a background actor and meets the ML. The ML has to get his face dirtied since he looks too good and would take attention from everyone else, but he is super prideful and walks out, pissing off the director. The MC does the same trying to connect with the ML, but he doesn't see it, so it's a waste of time. Then their agents put them together as a fake couple on a variety TV show, where they begin arguing and then agree to doing it. They talk on QQ a bit and argue. It's revealed the ML is actually the son of the leading family of the four great families, but he ran away to become an actor. They go to the shoot and the SFL and SML are also participating as a couple. They settle and then go to breakfast as their first shoot, but the SFL arrived early to put laxatives in the MC's food. The ML helps even though the MC had already dealt with it, so then she gets the system to give her some stomach medicine for him. They keep teasing each other as they go back to their room and rest for a bit. They argue as they head to the surfing shoot. They come to the surfing shoot, but it's the SFL and SML's turn first so they relax. The SFL fail at surfing and wastes a bunch of time. The MC exchanges for surfing and english skills, which then dazzles everyone, causing the director to give them more screen time. They come back and now it's time for a challenge, which is a blind waltz contest. The MC has a hard time picking a dress to match the colour the ML is wearing, but he bought a specially designed dress for her, allowing her to outshine everyone, also dazzling the SML who wants to get back together with the MC. They do the challenge and the SML steals the MC away temporarily before the ML steals her back. The MC and ML and SFL and SML couples go on to the final challenge. The final challenge is a drinking contest, so they can't do a reshoot. The ML drinks forty eight out of forty nine cups of champagne and leaves the final one for the MC. They win and the SFL is pissed, so she smashes all the wine glasses on the ground and tries to push the MC into them. The MC pushes back and they both fall. The ML catches the MC, while putting his hand on the ground with all the glass and the SFL falls right into the glass shards like an idiot. The MC goes and gets some medicine for the ML, but gets caught by the SML who wanted to get back together, but MC rejects him. The MC and ML have some bonding time over treating his wounds. The episode airs and their fake couple becomes super popular, which pisses off the SFL, who hires gangsters to kill them all. They are meeting on the fourth floor of the villa they are shooting in. The gangster the SFL hires sets fire to the villa trapping them, so they climb out the window on a makeshift rope of cloth. The director runs away like a little bitch, the agents get out safely and when it is the MC's turn, the rope breaks. The ML jumps out and catches her, falling to the ground, breaking several ribs. He gets hospitalized and they stop filming that variety show since the director was a little bitch. The MC contacts her parents and does a DNA test which shows she's the real daughter. The parents send her off and tell her to wait a few days before they come and pick her up. The MC's agent takes the MC to an audition for a love drama that the SML is also auditioning for. The MC acts like a robot since she does't want to be in a drama with the SML, which pisses off the director. The SML thinks that this is still a chance for them to fall in love and does everything to convince the director. The ML shows up because he's jelly of the SML, so he comes and acts out the scene perfectly with the MC, causing the director to make them the stars. They head back, but they run out of gas, so the MC and ML get out for a date. They go see a movie and officially becomes a couple. It turns out the SFL still didn't give up and tries to kill them by hiring gangsters again, who had siphoned the gas for their car. The gangster tries to run them over with a car, but the ML protects the MC, so instead he kidnaps the MC. He puts the MC in a water tank that is slowly filling up at an abandoned warehouse, which is being live streamed to the SFL. The MC escapes, but is depressed thinking that the ML has died, but the system shows her otherwise. The SFL freaks out and tries to kill the ML to silence him, but the MC stops her. She uses the psychic powers she receives from the last world to kill the SFL and teleports out. The parents come get her and bring her home, then take her to the hospital to see the MC since they were actually engaged. The MC is in a coma which lasts for 100 days, then he comes out of it and pretends to have lost his memories. The MC doesn't fall for it and then he panics when she pretends to go on a date, asking her to marry him. They get married, he becomes a super popular acting emperor before retiring to travel the world with her. He dies before her and writes a bunch of letters to her, which ends in asking her to find someone else, but she can't do it and she disappears from the world since she completed the mission already.
