Does she appear later in the story? Does she do something? After he gets away does he actually get away from her? Etc etc

Yes, but no. Their first reunion after a while was at dock when mc was about to sail to a land far away. Since the ship is already sailing, the mc shout at his sister that he will come back after she's married. Not satisfied by his brother argument she then use the grimmoire (which actually not a grimmoire), to teleport next to him (Omae wa mou shindeiru). After that, they reconciled with each other. Suddenly, the grimmoire revealed itself as not a grimmoire but the right arm of demon king and it has been looking for mc all this time. It then possessed gazelle and turn everything to stone. Fortunately, the mc has barrier and survived. Gazelle is held hostage and the mc was caught in the dillema, whether to save his sistah or not. Gazelle using everything she has left told her brother to do it. And FWUOOOOOO, the mc shine his magic on the villain and gazelle. Gazelle was petrified (literally) and evil smoke was released from her body. Since the villain's dead, everything's back to normal except for gazelle. The mc cried and feel sorry for ever leaving her. Magically (I forgot how) she returned back to normal and then I forget everything else.

Disclaimer: I actually forget what happened on the ship, but it's pretty much like that, I think.
