The Villain’s White Lotus Halo

So does the MC ever learn he got the wrong halo? 

Kind of like how WWX's sword responds to his soul in MXY?
I'm looking forward to ML and MC's reactions to meeting each other after the trial~

I answered that at the LCD thread sinceit is covered on the latest translation. I believe it's actually the junior sister but the halo effect used LMC's hazy memory to misled him into believing it's YBY with him that night. 

It's been a while since I read this, but I don't think he realizes at least 100 chaps in. And based on how he wanted to be a successful villain, a real villain, one with lines that would die properly after scheming, I suspect he would cry. And because of the halo, "they were pearl drop tears from wide, crystal clear eyes. Such a pitiable appearance made the reader want to protect..."  

When did ML fall for MC?

And can anyone tell me the sweet story between them?

So I'm guessing MC basically resigns himself to the fact that there's no way he'll turn into that great big boss villain he wanted to become?
I'm wondering though... being a villain would be pretty awesome if you have a white-washing halo where everybody keeps falling all over themselves to make up excuses for you no matter what shit you pull
