Not that I recall. MC stays in same body throughout story, that I remember anyway.

PFFT, I'm sorry lol, I have a bad track record of losing interest and dropping novels sometimes. Or forgetting to update spoiler threads.

But yes, this novel is HE. MC is shou, ML (the protag) is gong. They have a sweet, trusting, gentle sort of romance. MC doesn't lose faith in ML even when he turns out to have demon blood (?).

Some spoilers: In order to overturn his terrible deal's death sentence, MC pretends that all the bad things he did were all because he was crazy in love with/crushing hard on ML (the protag). MC is let off with fairly minimal punishment, considering his time in prison and his supposed emotional breakdown turning all his hair white.

ML: !?!??! (also secretly having a sexual crisis/awakening as time goes on later)

ML is really a good protag -- the fail salesman was not joking. He's pure-hearted and kind and DOES NOT go yandere. He starts getting close to MC at first because he's agonizingly apologetic about not noticing MC's 'feelings' and keeps hovering in an attempt to apologize. Somehow.

Then it turns into slowly falling for MC.

And the rest is history. LOL.

Btw, the various people in the sect close to them ship them so hard and try to give them the appropriate alone time to have dates. XDDD 

Mm, need to read further to check, but I think original Yin Biyue did plot to kill ML. I'm going off MTL, which is foggy at best. @Sakhyu , chubby unicorn chooses you!

On a side note, I remembered the scene with MC beating up his opponent to be loads more dramatic than it actually was (too much SV, cough). Also forgot the awesome fight ML had with this other guy before MC's fight in competition -- ML beat up his opponent using a style that usually masters use to discipline their students who did wrong. In context, it gave message to everyone -- I'm not a master, but I'm your master and yes I'm beating you up you little sh*t. Turns out ML did this because his opponent spoke badly of MC earlier.

Yes people want to hunt them down. Mainly going after ML -- MC is just in the crossfire for believing in ML and refusing to leave him (unless you count the time he took off to train with his shifu)

ML doesn't have to fight his nature, that I can see. He's still a good protag lol, only difference is that he heals faster and can use certain demonic techniques. 

If you count ML actually being a demon, then yes there's plot. Plus there's some kind of plot around the original demon king who wrecked the world and got sealed/killed. I think the theory is that ML is that demon king's reincarnation.

Well, MC's body is affected by all the ice/water techniques he uses, so he's cold a lot. ML uses fire techniques (as well as a bunch of others; there's pretty much nothing he doesn't know lol), so he often acts as MC's space-heater. In their oblivious phase, these two cutie-pies each thought they were helping the other when in fact they just wanted to spend more time together. LOL. ML never corrected MC's impression that he got heat stroke easily and needed the support.
