Most apprenticeships have set or minimum duration regardless of the talent of the apprentice. An apprentice electrician is not going to get journeyman status without the minimum years of experience (3-4 in most areas), regardless of how talented they are. That and often the master owns much of the rights to the apprentices work, most medieval ones were a form of indentured service usually stipulated to last for 7 years, so graduating them early is not in the masters better interests. The Master-apprentice relationship normally the master owning all the apprentices work for a set amount of time time in exchange for giving you the training and certification in the trade.

I really am enjoying the relationship between Laura and Lucas lately. Heck, their scenes together was quite heartwarming (and to the eyes of a 3rd person like her boss, it really looked and felt like a date)
Though, I still support Arnoldt endgame simply because of the level of trust he has towards Laura (seriously, even Laura's boss saw how much Arnoldt is favoring her AND also knows her potential as an alchemist. Also, her contributions in potion making SHOULD land her SOME form of recognition. If the current genius of alchemy acknowledged her, their boss can see it, and all she needs is practically medical combat/medic experience or whatever requirement that let Arnoldt graduate in 2 years, why not let Laura end up the same way?)

Gosh the FL is so annoying, why does she have to avoid Luka, its not like she'll fall in love with a child right? When the story keeps reminding us that she's 20 inside. Also the people hating on Luca just because he didn't fell for OGLaura are idiots. Just because someone fell for you doesn't mean you're obligated to do the same. Luka was the only one i was rooting for, to find happiness and not end up with someone like the mc.
