I'm aware of the first spoiler (given that's as far as what's already been translated in NU. And she HAS some knowledge of both the game mechanics and modern times so certainly no problem in her field of expertise)
-I don't understand WHY she has to keep him at arm's length when she's trying to avoid him (or is this still before "the game timeline" starts/before her supposed confession.
-Any change on her new friendship with Petra when Petra falls for Luka?

Edit: On the new spoiler: drat! I was hoping it was a brainwash thing because it really doesn't give the hero much excuse (I mean, game plot wise, we can have it as sh*tty cliche written plot. And in universe "the game" was already having terrible reviews and MC already had some pity fanbase) 

It's variable for royal alchemist in this novel. Arnoldt (rival/potential love interest) finished his in 2 years earning him the title genius. Laura is better than him and doing work he can't do but hasn't been graduated for ??? reasons.

Sure why not? He's head and shoulders better than Lucas, and I'd really like to see Lucas get the treatment he gave Laura in the original timeline

I believe lucas n ogfl's fate is somehow connected through the game's/ world's system I read somewhere lucas will start dreaming about original fl and original fl will fall for the 1st sight and wanted to marry him, original fl is not a bitch that is confirmed but lucas x original fl is very much feel like forced couple as if the game's world itself trying to bring them closed somehow even by means of any force.

Spoiler: The ML and 2nd ML endingsThe ML is the elf. He became pretty important later on, seemingly possessed by the demon king etc too, but I skimmed the story, it's happy ending.

Hero, elf and MC are real good friends, even tho by the epilogue MC&elf haven't seen Lukas for years since lukas was travelling alone.

FYI, seems like Hero (lukas) won't be together with the OGFL either because by the end of the novel he confessed to MC that he loved her, but he knew FL loves the elf,  so he already gave up (hence the past tense usage whe  coffesing 'Laura was my first love'.) Then he went on a journey around the world alone to find himself, sending MC postcards from time to time.

I wanted FL to have lukas 

From what I can gather from the translations, its 80% because he finished whatever it was that was part of his apprenticeship in 2 years and 20% because he was acknowledged by 2 big shots MOMENTS after he passed the test (knight captain and head alchemist teacher) with 1 of them being a future member of the hero's party named Veil.
As for the shipping talk, well we've established here that Lucas isn't COMPLETELY at fault (I apologize in advance if I managed to get you mildly irritated). The boy just found someone better and didn't EXACTLY promise OGLaura anything AND Laura was kinda stupid enough not to ask for an answer. Even though it'll look like she would be pressuring him. If anything, the BIGGEST fault I could give him is the fact that when he had the opportunity to visit the village (or at least grandma's hut to ask for her alchemist help), he didn't stop by and let Laura know and reject her right then and there. I forgot if it was mentioned if he was already aware of his feelings for the heroine at that point or if they were in a relationship (then we could at least factor that in) but AT LEAST let the poor girl have the decency to keep her dignity and be rejected because he hasn't thought of her not once on his hero journey (but then again, in-universe its been stated the game wasn't well received because it was cliche and the only reason OGLaura was prominent enough/had a fanbase was because the players thought she was plot important at the first half of the game due to her unique game and exclusive story sprite but the fact that said village visit event didn't mention her at all made the players realize. Ah~ so she wasn't important at all AND was forgotten by the developers too. Poor thing). Honestly though, I do ship her more with Arnold, so far no love rivals on his route too. Plus, if she successfully cures his sister, at least she'll be appreciated more AND they share common interest in alchemy. Lucas still has that vision dreams with Heroine afterall and so far heroine doesn't seem like a bad person as well 

- from what I can tell she begged a lady in her village how to make potions and finds out she has a talent
- goes to the capital to level up in her career
- she keeps the  "hero" at an arm's length
- a villager girl named Petra falls for the "hero" and wishes to marry him similar to her original role 

Is there a similar storyline oit there? I just started this specific story but it seems real familiar
