I actually wanted to barf when I read the forgiveness part and I had to remind myself, this is novel version Evans, the for some reason spineless version (definitely the better version compared to his manga adaptation counterpart).
Honestly, good riddance. Manga MC from her facial expressions did NOT want to have anything to do with him anymore. Heck, can you blame her? Novel version of his is basically a better/poor man's version of Schneider (but with some hints that first prince might be her first love then all is right in the world), give or take. Growing up together, I can understand if one feels betrayed that the person that was always by their side isn't the kind of person they thought they'd be but at the same time, seeing the manga raws where he lets his guard down over a crying woman who lost her family is kinda... underwhelming. Heck, he was in the scene of a crime, if his father can dig that far using his authority, why couldn't he do the same thing?

Oooohhh~ this is actually a rare thing to happen. Consequences for offending someone that's really at the top of the food chain that not even a "saint" title is enough to justify the humiliation MC suffered.

@lazynoodles, I know you spedread the novelraws and all but can you verify/emphasize these two things for me
1. In the comments section at MD which provided rough summaries of the manga raws, was the event of her being sent to her aunts changed from the LN which I assume the adaptation is following? It was mentioned, she used her knowledge as a reincarnator (was their any specific time WHEN she reincarnated given she had time to prepare to befriend the old couple who owned the inn and eventually buying it) in regards to most of the things involved with the inn (I dunno, business savvy perhaps) or was it mentioned that despite being thrown out pf the household, her parents and her brother at least gave her enough financial support to survive the coming days as a commoner
2. What do you think about her grandfather? Is there more info on the war buddy ish plot point and the sibling staffs? Like, is Chef dude 2nd ML (given that the webnovel spoilers hint 1st Prince as ML). Basically, I'm still irked her grandpa punished her despite the fact Evans's father could gather enough decent evidence to prove her innocence otherwise, but is somehow suddenly okay with an engagement with grandsons of his war buddies. Like, as a grandpa, WHAT/HOW is he as a character? Kinda confusing. He's mad at his son for being too lenient but his son again got to marry the love of his life who is a foreign princess and from spoilers above is a good person that also brought forth more notoriety to their name as a noble.
3. Any mention on the king and his character?

FUUUUUUUUCK. EVANS SEES HER BACK TO HER NORMAL SELF.

edit: The MC says she forgives but doesn't want him around her anymore?

Wow...... As soon as Sandra lost all her good looks - the younger brother of the Prince threw her away and looked at her like she was trash.

As much as I hate it. I will play sort-of Devil's advocate. She does believe she is a bad person. Especially when she shuts her own brother's in a fire with the rest of her family and kills them. However, with fairy feeding on her complexes, vanity, and greed it took something that was maybe a level 1 dialed it up to 11. This very clear when I think the MC purified Sandra. Looking back she herself is both disgusted at herself and mournful. Especially about her brothers. In the end, she wished to be stripped of everything and didn't make a stink when her imprisonment at the Temple became official. She definitely deserved everything and more. However, in a weird way, I like that they treated her humanely even in punishment. It speaks more about them than about her.

Thanks half is pretty damn good
especially since it only takes 1 or 2 to make a novel unreadable

I expect that there's other problems but I'm not going through Mtl hell to read through
just my suspicions
1) an endless game ofnwhere's waldo wit MC playing waldo
2) endless rounds of miscommunication and people never saying what needs to be said
3) Her continuously hiding her magic because nobody gets sick andnfood supply is no big deal but running a greasy spoon is difficult
4) reincarnation doen't actually make good money from modern tech due to reasons

like I said all speculation but you can smell it even across the net

I think chapter 16 is the most cathartic since it speaks about the regret of the childhood friend of the MC.

Chapter 16 Regret of a foolish man
- Apparently he acted on order of the Prince and he manhandled her thinking it was for justice.
- He couldn't believe how harsh her grandfather was towards her and was wondering why there was no leniency towards her at all.
- He thinks back on the past on how she was his first love.
- True evidence and witnesses state that alot of it was held back for some reason and all the people who were going to speak for her were held up somewhere else. It shows that the MC was completely innocent in all of this.
- The childhood friend was crushed and hated himself for not even trying to believe in her. That with how she is. She wouldn't even pull half of the accusations. The chapter ends with him lamenting everything.

***note: he only regrets and does nothing to help push towards helping clear her name. He does nothing but wallow.

Ah, I forgot that Taki has healing power too...

But, then why Will got sick just after Sandra healed the scarred soldier? (Did I miss something??)
When I saw he get sick, I thought it was because his power get taken. But, then again at that time Sandra doesn't know that Will has healing power, right??
