When you mean recent chapters, are you perchance referring to the raws? Because I don't think both boys are royalties judging from the spoilers here. If its the current updates, while MC is thinking of that sc*m ex friend of hers (too harsh of me to say that to a guy who manhandled her once on her banishment event and will do something close to it next update?), I already assumed judging from the spoilers here, her memory is faulty/was manipulated to forget the first prince (aka her true childhood friend). Shin and Taki are at best according to spoilers here, the grandsons of MCs grandfather's war buddy (who may or may not be a noble. But certainly not actual royalty. I mean, remember, her own grandpa was mad at her father for marrying a foreign princess, I honestly forgot what his issue was with this) 

If novel ver. brother keeps acting like a chad and best boy, at this point, I'd heavily support incest end. I mean, I get CPs dilemma not being able to make much moves but his main allies are a literal powerhouse! And once Sandra's schemes are out from the light of day, are we sure the emperor won't do a d*mn thing to his moronic second son? Sure, the church might stay on her side given her status though

not really, it was more to sealed memory(?). More like to save her from some royal problem (Will is son of concubine and and Frederick is son of queen. So there can be a faction who prefer Frederick as crown prince... and as Lana can be a weakness to him/she can get into dangerous situation, so...) , he forcefully sealed her memory (forgot if she too agree to let her memory's erased or not. Edit: No, Lana doesn't know. But, Duke Norris (basically Lana's family with her maid) and select few people know about the decision) that she has a childhood friend that she gave permission to call her 'Lana' name.

and in this chapter, he keep calling Lana as 'Lana' in his head, in later part, he said that 'She doesn't remember him'. And he want to try to make Lana who lives somewhere in country, will happy even without him appear in front of her (as to her, he was a stranger or more to ex-fiance's brother), without knowing that the landlady of the inn he visit (when he is incognito and he knows that she has the same name as 'Lana') and Lana that he knows is actually the same person

So, in the Will's pov. Lana and him first met at the tea party (I think it is hosted by his mom) with Lana and her mother attending. From that they play together when they met (at tea party). Will is Lana's first love, and vice verse (because Will is really jealous of Evan as she talked to him about Evan). And they almost got engaged together. But, before that, Will got poisoned and he almost died. So, with few peoples who know about their almost engagement, he let Lana's memory sealed (but because Lana is special. The seal is not good and can be broken).
