I'm rather torn about this series now, as the art is still just hard to adjust to. Sometimes it looks fine, other times it looks rushed. But, at the same time, at least we are getting consistent chapters now? Plus the events of the story are actually progressing and it's not just being on a boat for years and years.



I guess Guts is going to have to somehow recover from this before he can face Griffith again though. That was quite the look of defeat, usually he's brazenly headlong into battle with blind rage. So I'm not quite sure why he lost that fire and completely crumbled this time. But, hopefully he bounces back. If anyone deserves a happy ending it's Guts.

page 11 : being back-ground , extra characters in this manga is very dangerous , because they dont have plot-armors , only the main characters have plot-armors , lol .



i guess in the next chapter , after griffith left , elf queen will regain her powers and she will protect the island and roderick , or the mermaids will save roderick .



i guess the next arc is : guts has to save casca , AGAIN .



elf queen will give guts and his harem some buffs , some new weapons , then on their way back , they will meet rickert and the 4 indian guys , and all of them will go to griffith 's castle , and they will kill everyone who stands on their way , including human soldiers and monsters .

holy shit that was horrible, if guts isnt suffering then isnt berserk, but in turn, this couldnt have been any other way, this makes the fight with griffith not a possibility but a necesity, not only to rescue casca but for vengeance against griffith

oh come on, Griffiths kidnaps Casca again, well, I hope we won't go into a "Saving Casca" arc next after Fantasia is destroyed by apostles

Let's not forget Chadrick. He deserves Farnese.

Generally, I loved it, interested to see where the story goes from here. What will happen to Casca, how will guts cope etc? at the same time I am left feeling sad due to the events of the chapter.
