Never would have imagined that seeing Griffith cry would make me so sad… thank you Miura.

Thank you for all the endless hard work, Miura. It's strange to mourn for a story, an introspective and human tale at its core that was of its own kind. I hope we see the intended ending and it continues on to carry on the legacy but if this is where the metaphorical train stops, it was one of the most entrancing rides of my life.

Fuck, just caught up with the manga, and we leave off on a cliffhanger. Big sad :(

If nothing is planned for the future of the manga by Miura's team and they and the publishers call it quits, then I say it's a well deserved ending. The only thing I'll be looking forward to now is the anime adaptation that the series wholeheartedly deserves.

10/10 manga.

End of an era. I'm taken back in awe how this chapter ended, it's too poetic. The potential follow-up discussion to Griffith's statement could go so many ways but we'll never know what Miura planned to go afterwards. Guts, Casca, and Griffith in the same chapter one last time. Too good.

RIP Miura.

What a fantastic chapter and fantastic way to possibly end the series. I still can’t believe Griffith was the child. To me it seems that his true dream was never the castle but companionship whether romantic or platonic. But he knows that he will never gain it. Kind of like us the reader never getting to read the true ending. And like Miura never being able to finish his life’s work. Maybe in the end Berserk wasn’t actually about  revenge and overcoming it but maybe dreams and their consequences. Either way good bye to one of the greatest story’s ever written. Rest In Peace Miura.

Miura the Goat. Don't mind if the story ends here tbh.

It's too short and they ended it with a cliffhanger but it's still better than being cancelled just because the author died without even finishing it
