I'm really confused because I thought Griffith came from the demon baby and that it was seperate from the moon child, but apparently the moon child IS the demon baby (looking like what the demon baby probably would've looked like if it wasn't corrupted). I guess that it means that he can change between femto, himself and the moon child, and that he was also able to monitor them during full moons

I started the series back in May when it was announced that Miura had passed. I regret not reading this series sooner. It was an amazing through and through from the artwork to the storytelling.

I would be 100% completely okay if the story ends here: Guts and co. have found meaning and deep companionship through their shared struggle and journey.

Casca has regained her self awareness again although not completely restored because of the deep trauma, healing and progression is a journey in of itself.

Though Guts had set out on his journey originally to find a cure for Casca and vow his revenge on Griffith, the way his body has began to wear away is telling of a change in heart—or rather how he's now grown on this journey by opening up to others.

The meeting between Guts, Casca, and Griffith in the final panel of the story I believe was no coincidence.

Rest easy.

I guess that's it, what a cliffhanger to end one of my Top 3 series on. I'll miss Berserk, thank you Miura for the wild ride.

So it came to an end. That was a cliffhanger you an just say "Damn"

Rest in Peace Kentaro Miura

With all respect, but I wonder if the publisher would be crazy enough to try to milk Berserk, like the Shin-chan's publisher is still doing.

Guin Saga didn't stop with the death of Kaoru Kurimoto (Miura was a huge fan of her work). I think that with Miura's notes, his assistants, and a talented mangaka, his work could stay alive. I don't think it would be milking.

"I actually don't think I could let such a long grim story end with a grim ending" - Kentaro Miura, interviewed by Yukari Fujimoto - Sept, 2000

I think I think its one of the greatest mangas of all time and shouldve stayed where it did.

Wow, the emotions are insane. Seeing Guts playing with the moonlight child is overwhelming. What an insane cliffhanger. It would be nice to see continuation, but If this is the end I'm just glad it ended here and not with chapter 363. 364 just feels much better as a final chapter if that does end up being the case. Overall I'm just glad they at least made it to elfhelm. Getting to see Casca get her memories back was so powerful to me, and even though there are tons of story threads unfinished, I think this is the best place we could have hoped for it to end if Miura didn't want it continued without him.

Thank you for everything Miura.
