Ahh shit noooo Rickert seems to be in trouble! :(

Hopefully it switches back to Guts and co. soon. (so we can finally get off that damn boat!)

Am I the only one who think's that casca will end up going back to Griffith If that happens I will immediately drop the manga...

Dayum! What a magnificent chapter for the GOAT manga to return to.



Rickert's realisation of Falconia being built on the corpses of his brethren was beautiful; the running water and sewer system you're in awe of, what flows is the spilled blood of your comrades.

Until the translation comes out the basic jist of things is:

-Griffith looks upon Rickert and says to Charlotte & Co. something like "I've been rejected it seems..."



-Locus is obviously upset about the now slap-tarnished face of his commander and destroys the edge of a ledge with one hand, all while Silat of the Bakiraka looks down from above.

Rickert, Erica, and a member of Falconia's youth civilian militia-esque group demonstrate a contraption that acts as a hardcore fire-extiguisher, and talks with Luca and her band of misfits about how staying here isn't feasible, and explains that the events of CH337. Luca advises he tell no one, and Erica recognizes Rickert is the only family she has left, and is willing to go with him should Rickert choose to leave Falconia.



-Rickert reflects on the state of Falconia and stumbles upon an old ruin in which there sits a headless statue; atop it sits Rakshas. IIRC Rakshas approaches Rickert with the intent to kill saying something like "Your hopelessness can now come to an end."



-Silats shrike blades descend upon Rakshas out of nowhere; his 2 Bakiraka behemoths behind him throwing a large ruined pillar. Silat remarks his doubts that Griffith ordered the murder of Rickert and insinuates Locus and Rakshas are going against him.

Because i prefer a fast death to a slow one and that's exactly what he is doing. He's killing us slowly. He's going to release another 100 pages over 5 months then we aren't going to hear anything for 2 years.

idk man I think we should be more optimistic man.

It wouldn't make sense if he announces a monthly serialization just to go back on hiatus again.
