I think the chapter is fine, i liked it.
About all those complaints about the storyline and the path that is taking (that imo is very coherent), im feel is product of the eternal lapse between chapters. I mean, if there is one chapter per week or two weeks, constantly, maybe this would be different. I'm those who read the manga in one week, but and i can imagine the torture that is wait for 20 pages in months or years (im starting to feel that)...
The story is perfectly coherent and interesting in the 36 volumes. There's characters less important or less interesting, yes, but they contribute to make a more complex and verisimilar world and plot (Gats is not a dog searching revenge, that is the sense of all the stuff about the berserk armor, no?). Even, the "fantasy arc" with that non-dark dye, proposes an interesting new idea about the repeated topic about "world domination" (Griffith is far away from those typical bad guys who want to control the world, that is to say, yes, but not in the same way). I think is really uncanny this griffith's world, is like a world with two sides (falcon white knight/Femto black angel).
In sum, the problem is the speed of Miura, not the storyline.
