Berserk Chapter 317 Discussion

^Easily the best part of the chapter.





Things I liked:



- the spread at the end with Farnese and Schierke

- Farnese's ongoing development. Soon, she will be a powerful mahou shoujo. =P

- Schierke's desperate attempt to bring Guts back, and Isma's reaction to it.



Something I didn't like/not too sure how I feel about it yet:



-I just can't see the point in Isma joining the group. She serves no function. Perhaps she'll meet up with her mother eventually? I don't know.





Also, can't believe the pirates managed to get away. Again!

Farnese will cast that spell?

once again, guts was able to find himself due to casca and moonchild. added with Farnese entrusted with a pivotal role and getting the unspoken approval from guts is good. puck adding his comedic mastery here and there. yhh berserk is honestly the best piece of fiction I'll ever read in my lifetime

Is it me or Berserk is turning more and more into One Piece?...I mean getting a new nakama?...I mean come on....but I still love berserk though :D

oooh too bad.

A small part of me kinda wished that Gut's would be unable to resist the will of the armour and run rampage, removing some of those anonymous sailors in the process. Forcing the group to battle him, and eventually manage to release him out of berserk mode (^.^)



Would have been much more interesting ;)

It's funny that in the whole event of dispelling the armor's grip, the worst thing Schierke had to deal with was a painful landing on her bottom. Seeing Guts be so grateful for her help really warms my heart ♡



That feel when he realizes that his kid got more action than guts ever will for a long time lmao. I've just noticed that Isidro's arms are super ripped, damn. Isma is also now officially part of the team thanks to a certain monkey boy.



Farnese will finally put her new magical skills into action and in such an important event too. Even the most basic spells are super widescale and flashy~

lol don't compare OP with berserk ! OP is a kids manga berserk is the real deal and what is your problem with a new team member that is pretty normal for a manga that new ppl join the party....lol....I know but still think about it...form back in the days in the lost children arc and the retribution arc when Guts was a lone wolf....I think that was way better.....I don't know....maybe I'm just not used to Guts having that many companions well except in the Golden Age Arc....those guys were okay...too bad they died though :(

Shit is going down. This arc is pretty bland but oh well.
