Not true, it isn't as dark because of what is actually happening. The darker parts were when Guts was hit badly by the entire event of the Eclipse, the mood changed completely to show this through a couple of chapters. Right now, Guts is back to his old ways of travelling with a group of friends, lessening the dark events going on around him. A fair example would be during the Golden Age arc around the middle when Guts was happy and the Band of the Hawk were doing really well, everything felt like it did now until Guts left and Griffith messed it up.



Things will take a nosedive again after the fantasia arc, I'm sure of it. Enjoy this arc for what it is, an over-extended battle with a damn persistent pirate. Not to mention we'll have some drama with Casca when the damn pirate dies.



Except last time, it didn't involve a bunch of children/loli/shota and something that looks like a harem.

And someone posted that they found the chapter short, but It actually seemed longer than the recent ones to me. Oh well, to each his own.



I think the same thing about the kid.



Also, I was the one who said it seemed short. I'll explain what I meant by that.....let's say you have a book that's 400 pages. If it's a really good book you just breeze right through it and it feels as if you only read 100 pages. If it's boring, it seems to take forever to read and it's as if it were 800. So it's not that the chapter itself was short, more so that I just wanted more. XD

the human and apostle team up is cool to see

The ghost kid has returned, and helped save Guts from his berserker rage with Schierke! Now its time for Farnese to protect the ship!

Then, the kid is possible to be a Casca´son, or i am a mistake ....
