I have this sneaking feeling that Griffith was already fully aware of the existence of demons by this point and he has some trick he hasn't yet revealed. Even if not, assuming he's still stronger than Guts, between the two of them taking out this monster should be feasible...

ok I get it... this is yet another very short chapter with only 21 pages! now I just hope there will be another chapter with 120+ pages.. it this continues I'll catch up to the latest chapter in no time!

At this point in the timeline he hasnt. Chapters 1-8 are after this, so he doesnt meet those monsters before Zodd.
