I first watched the 97 Anime which made me want to read the manga to know the story and what happened next! That's how I first got into Berserk and my god the artwork is Gorgeous! that's all I wanted to say for now.

Man... Guts' birth was just... that was painfully macabre. Very cool.



I don't see a reason to hate Gambino. As far as I can tell, it was necessary for him to be hard on Guts the way he was.

Damn, born from a hanging corpse. I knew he was born from a dead mother but this! Holy Shit!

We skipped a lot of 3 years, to finally a 9 yr old Guts.

Ayo what was that at the end compared to the anime Guts birth and childhood are more detailed here but dam

I'm really enjoying it so far. I'm not seeing why it is the number 1 rated manga, but it's volume 3 so that's totally understandable.



Gutts hugging his sword gave me some feels, i wondered why he did it in a previous chapter :P It's good enough for me to carry on with, i am very interested still :)
