Fantastic last chapter to Blackwoods Man Arc!

The count was taken by hell itself He just couldn't do it. He couldn't sacrifice his beloved daughter.....

The way Miura showed us hell was scary! And Vargas......You did get him at the end! ;_;

The Godhand disappears and thous Guts first encounter with Griffith after what happened comes to an end!

Poor Theresia......I am glad she survived, but the price was high.......No will to live....

When Guts saved her from falling down I thought she could forget and snap out of her trauma, but no she now knows what her will to live is! To kill Guts one day.......What a sad sad ending to this arc...

Seeing Guts cry at the very end hit me hard.....With that page Miura made it clear that Guts is just pretending to be this big badass who doesn't care. After all the trauma he went through he is just playing someone else to hide himself.....What a tragedy...

Again really amazing Prologe/First Arc! I never thought it would be that good!

9/10 for the whole Arc!

Now it's time for me to go through the Golden Age Arc once again, but this time the original Manga version!

The Count couldn't give up the only person left in his family for his own sake after all... He shouldn't have asked the God Hand to make him a monster because he fucked up so hard. Having his soul carried to hell was the ultimate cost for all the atrocities he had committed.



Seeing Vargas among the damned souls shocked me. Despite being in agony for all eternity, I bet that he was at least a bit happy having his vengeance on the man who destroyed his life among with thousands of others like him.



Guts saving Theresia with his sword was both awesome and very painful. And the girl finally snapped... Looking at Guts' tragically grieving face gained from the realization that he screwed over another child's future despite smirking and taunting seconds ago really made him sympathize with him. Hang on Guts ;-;

Guts gas lighting a young girl to kill herself has instantly made him my favorite character

We finally saw guts showing is emotions.

If I had not seen the Anime, I would have thought Griffith was female.



Awwww, Guts' sad face hit me right in the chest. What a miserable situation. Theresia directs her sadness into hate towards him. Fuck!

Those events that just transpired would indeed be traumatizing to anyone, let alone a child. I feel that Guts believes its better to have her hatred of him be a reason to live on, rather then let her just wallow in despair. Was this a good decision? I cannot say.

Huh so this is where Dark Souls got it's name.
