We've already seen so much development from Guts in such a short time, it's incredible. I love how he took a shot at Griffith instead of trying to free himself from getting dragged to hell (he got free anyway but it wasn't his main goal) and how quickly he reacted to save Theresia even after he just suggested to her to commit suicide. Crazy
Guts gives theresa a reason to life, the hate, the hate to kill him any day in the future. Is not a nice feeling, but is one reason to begin to life, and with the time, can change or not, but also she don´t commit suicide ;)

What separates Guts from most of the stoic badass types is that there is so much more to him than just one trait. It's obvious even just going by this prologue. And, now, the Golden Age starts. I'm definitely looking forward to this.
