Berserk Chapter 8 Discussion

Damn.



That panel with Guts crying fucked me up.

What shocked me was the end of the chapter, was Guts crying? If so, I had him all wrong.

Holy shit man, Guts get so fucking close to griffith and is only called worthless and doesn't come close to touching him. Now fucking theresia isn't thankful for guts saving her twice already.. That sad face is justified :c

The poor count... poor, foolish count... and poor Theresia too. I'm quite certain we've not seen the last of her.



It's amazing; Guts acts so cruel and savage almost all the time, so when he extended his blade to Theresia to save her, I couldn't help but grin widely. It's a small thing, the type of thing you'd expect out of a typical protagonist, but it means so much coming from Guts. Guts' face in the second-to-last page was truly heartbreaking.

I'm glad that he didn't offer Theresia as a sacrifice, he did one good thing in the end, too bad that she blames Guts for everything.

Guts saying that she should kill herself was really harsh, but those tears changed my opinion of him, he is really suffering, considering what he's been through it's normal.

I honestly thought the count would sacrifice theresia, i mean this series is so dark. Nobody saved Vargas so i expected her to go the black sea lol. Wonder why he is in hell though

Its not Guts fault, it was either whoever gave the count the behelit or her whore mothers fault. She didnt even feel bad she just smiled at the count. She saw her whore mom smile,its beyond me how she could blame anyone else lol
