at first i thought The Count was the bad guy in the story who sacrificed his wife for more power and shit, but after seeing how it went down, i don't blame him one bit. Bitch had to go.

Shit, never thought I could feel sorry for the count. So if you have to sacrifice someone very important to you for become one of the godhand, guess Guts was so important for Griffith. Even if he talks all trash with him.

She was slutting around and part of a Cult. Notice the Goat statue? Mostly the Count felt betrayed by his wife, though. I think that was his main motivation. Now I completely understand, because I remember the count wanted to get rid of the cults & religion that was spreading or something  along the lines.
