Berserk Chapter 7 Discussion

But why did the wife decide to hold a cult orgy and/or participate in something like that in the castle, the center of the Count's kingdom, where she knew her husband would be coming back to? It could be assumed that she just stopped caring at some point. I do wonder if she was simply brainwashed by that cult to hit the Count where it hurts, or if she betrayed the Count on her own accord.

Edit: Come to think of it, it's kind of unbelievable how they snuck that big statue inside the throne room like that.

Oh damn...

I did think that the Count sacrificed his wife for his powers but I did not know that there was such a story behind it. Man, I'm sorry Count. You just asked the wrong guys for help. Hoes ain't loyal. Screwing with a Hermaphrodite Satan... Damn.

I really hope Theresia survives. Please save her!

That... that was just... wow. I suddenly really feel for the count. I wouldn't go so far as to say the count's wife deserved it, but... >_>

The "goat statue" is called Baphomet, by the way, for the unawares.

I still feel the same. Holy shit.

Also, Griffith made his first appearance. I wonder why they cut this out of the TV series.
