I really liked the Queen's monologue about her affair. Gives her more character than the cliche evil stepmother from the anime. Foss forgot he was already marked by the Hawk's glare.

I bet the letter is warning that griffith know about the plan - I wonder if griffith has some external or "spiritual" help... for sure he's lucky, but is it that behelit that he carries?

is this the guy from like 40 chapters before? the one who was tortured I think with only one eye or something I don't remember

Ahh The part where the Queen fucked Julius or having a affair was unknown to me, All the anime and movie show is just her anger and no depth.

The Hawks return all while Minster Foss starts a new plot against Griffith under the supervision of the Queen! A Queen who had an affair with the men who got killed by Griffith/Guts!

But Foss gets a letter by an unknown! He is shocked...! Griffith probably once again is a step ahead of them!

Damn I really like this political affair thing lol These mind games and Griffith probably knowing what's up ahead! Excited to see the ball! Also I like how the affair of the Queen was explained!

I bet Griffith is planning something to counter this hideous attempt to kill him.

So they have victory but people are plotting against Griffith. I'm still waiting for Griffith to show his true colors. This manga is just throwing out hints that he's really evil.
