Tbh, I don't give af which forum is designated for what. I'm leaving my comment here..........



This chapter was beautifully horrific. The Misty Valley was painted to be this serene, mystical place, filled with glorious peace and tranquility. Then the elf children were depicted as playing war in the field, with cute little war props and instruments. And then SNAP. In an instant it turns horrendous and filled with bloodshed. Disgusting sadism -- kindred tearing each other apart, skewing each other, dancing around corpses, transforming into monster form, and the breaking point: "fairy rape" as someone put it. My gosh.



The execution was brilliant though. How one second it was a fairytale and the next it was a gruesome nightmare. Berserk is known to hit deep dark territory and yet I honestly wasn't expecting this!

[Almost everyone talking about "The Misty Valley 2" but this is actually "The Misty Valley 1", always not considering Chapter 83... sob]



Sooooo that first page with Puck riding a beetle was awesome.

Also, those were real elves, right? Like the "good" side of the Valley is still alive, I guess.

I've seen a couple of manga sites having the wrong order of the manga not just Berserk. That could be one of the causes for it.

Yea, you're right. I've also noticed that the first 16 chapters aren't numbered on many sites. And there's also that missing (lost) chapter etc...

Surprisingly, I am definitely enjoying the comedy relief part with Puck :P

Puck charges into battle but runs into a little something while in a covert mission. I'd stiffen up if I'd realize that they were playing with an eyeball all along xD

MAL screwed it tf up... the expository 15-16 first chapters -- I think it was like Chapter A to P ..... for some reason, there are zero forums devoted to the letter chapters.



So some DOOFUS created a Chapter 1 forum and started discussion Chapter A in its place (where Puck is first seen being used as target practice). And then people used the Chapter 2 forum to discuss Chapter B. And so on and so forth. So now every single Berserk discussion is going to be roughly 15 chapters behind. Everyone is tlaking about Chapter 109 even though this clearly states it's the 124 discussion. SO annoying.
