Maybe "friend" wants to recruit all of the members from that other cult looking group ... Just sort of absorb all of the cults in to his/her own cult.

I just realize that shadow guy named "friend" and not "fiend", my dumbass eyes misread it as "fiend" all the time and only realize it until now through the translation xd
