Here's why I think Takamura is rushing things (I'm pretty confident so consider this a spoiler):



He probably has problems with one of his eyes and may go blind at some point, it's been foreshadowed before and Morikawa sometimes draws one of his eyes without inking.



The theme of luck in this arc makes me feel like Takamura is gonna get a bad injury in his eye (for like the third time already) and will either lose by a doctor's stop, or most likely win by a hair's breadth, but will have to retire sealing his legacy as the undefeated champion, hopefully it doesn't come to that yet.

I’m not very interested in Takamura’s match anymore, honestly. I hope it’ll be a good match.
