I don't really know about this. I do acknowledge that they do love each other, but the fact that so little development has happened in their relationship prevents me from actually LIKING them together. I mean, for every single Rou chapter until now, Watanuki's been angsting about Yuuko and being a jerk to Doumeki, without mentioning Himawari at all. WataHima is a potentially cute couple, but I just don't see the connection.



(Doumeki has strong feelings for Watanuki, though. I'm sure of that.)

So, I don't think it seemed plantonic at all. There have been countless anime's and mangas where when the guy or girl says "daisuke" meaning that they love them and/or want to date them. And considering that Watanuki already has confessed to Himawari {LINK} and how Himawari began to open up A LOT more to him after she took on his scars...and when he technically asked her out on a date {LINK} {LINK}, I think it was pretty obvious this was going to happen eventually.



Himawari is the one Watanuki loves. It started as a HUGE crush, then as he matured, it turned to love. Because of Himawari opening herself up more to him, she realized she cared for him too.

Himawari makes Watanuki the happiest. And I think is very obvious he wants to be the one to make Himawari the happiest, and he’s happiest when he is making her happy. So…Himawari is his happiness, and after all the mud he’s had to trek through his entire life, he deserves his happiness.



And even Yuko said in chapter 13 of english volume 2, regarding Watanuki and Doumeki:



"I said connection. It' doesn't have to mean love"

At this point I'd be satisfied if Watanuki would just stop taking Doumeki for granted.

PRECISELY. It just doesn't feel right with Watanuki and Himawari. I know it's probably my personal preference coming to play here but I'm not exactly the biggest yaoi fangirl but Watanuki and Doumeki have been through so much together, much more than what Himawari has.



Just feels wrong. Dammit CLAMP.

Right after reading the Nanoha movie manga chapter 5, comes the fact that Himawari actually said Kimihiro that she loves him XD

So it was that the shop and Himawari are not compatible that she's not there with him... to bad for them.

Now let's see what will happen with the DV girl who somehow produced the pearl... a clam lady perhaps?

wow those two are an item now ^^ It's just so sad that they can only meet once a year.. T_T That was really something that made me like this time-skip arc more as since the time-skip arc started, it pales in comparison to the xxholic prior to it. But things look better now. :)

I'm really happy for Watanuki, the girl he's admired all this time loves him too! But depressing at the same time... Himawari only able to visit the shop once a year :'(



While the time skip really gave it more impact, I'd loved to have seen when they actually got together!! >_<



Also feel so bad for the girl in the apartment, I hope the person responsible doesn't get away with it. Clam Lady idea ^ sounds like a theory, though why can't Spider Lady collect herself?
