"I can't see him as anything else but awesome"

Does Naruto have short term memory? This guy killed Neji, his parents, he's the reason why almost every bad thing in the series happend, but somehow Naruto just seems like it doesn't matter anymore because Obito also wanted to become Hokage a long time ago. Naruto just keeps making me dislike him more and more.

Think for a moment, and understand what Naruto meant, the context, and Naruto's emotional nature, and what he felt specifically during those scenes.

''Don't you laugh at Obito! Obito tried to become Hokage. To me I can't see that as anything but awesome''

He thought that was awesome, Obito redeeming himself, and saving him and Kakashi. He is describing the current version of Obito, and how sincere he was, in trying to make up for his mistakes, and what he saw back then when he connected to him when Obito was the Juubi's Jin, how Obito could have been an important figure and respected in his life, how different Obito could have been (just read that chapter). This was directed towards BZ, because BZ has been shitting on Obito, and calling him all sorts of insults, while Naruto thought the current Obito was awesome.

He did the same thing with Nagato. In the end, he judged him, by his final decision (atoning for his sins and taking a leap of faith in Naruto).

Goodness gracious...Shit is not rocket science.

You know Mangastream couldn't also differentiate between 右 and 左 at first. Therefore, I don't think there are really better than mangapanda and so on.

Ugh what a boring chapter, it's the same shit all over again. At least he finally died. Good riddance!

For those saying Naruto shouldn't ave called Obito "Coolest guy"

Because he killed his parent & started the war..

Madara brainwash Obito & even placed a puppet seal in him to diminish is emotions..

The amount of mockery in this post is sad.

And the biased stupidities, you didn't like the guy? Good, how about you mop the floor and spread your cancerous thinking process somewhere else?

At least he wasn't a hobo that used Izanagi on his own eye to revive himself (lolwat?) and then got a power-up just to die shortly after: "Madara".

Now that's what you call a "bad" villain, that and Kaguya being the worst of them all.

At least Obito was once Tobi, who was a true villain and stayed one, until he got Talk no Jutsu'd, there's a reason as to why he was the main antagonist and not Madara.

Madara has no purpose and is still clueless, he loses his brother and decides magically to ruin his friendship with Hashirama and become a retarded thug, thus leading to more wars.

Obito, for the same purpose, losing a close one, did truly follow the same path at some point, but his HAS some explanation, he was used. Madara was used by Black Zetsu, however, he followed his own path and he had the choices to do so, Black Zetsu merely used him once he noticed the potential to awaken the rinnegan in him which was way later.

Also, it's obvious that Naruto has not completely forgiven Obito, he's merely giving him the occasion to atone for his sins, that and he could relate to him at some point, whether he has killed his family and ruined his life is irrelevant.

Naruto hasn't forgiven Nagato, has he? Right?

It doesn't matter how much killing you do, what tells you he even forgives him?

Nothing, he's only honoring his death, and there's a thing that's common, you respect the dead, this is also a manga, I don't know why you're trying to compare it with reality.

There's no villain in Naruto, only people who endured pain, in real life, there's a difference, NO one endured pain and strayed from the path, they have selfish desires, nothing more.

So keep your "Obito is garbage, useless" assumptions to yourself, because you're no more than garbage on a train track, ready to be run over by your idiotic thinking. If anything, you would feel bad for a character that had compassion and violently strayed from the path, if you would question yourself about what you would do if you had led the same life, I believe you would suicide like a moron with no objective, or simply act like "garbage" (the word is very fitting) and cry in a corner.

You're definitely in a position to be judgmental there.

Half the people making pointless critics and complaining about a character that has made more logic than most of the cast who joined the akatsuki is sad.

He killed countless people and deserved that death, but for you to even force your opinion onto others by going like "LOL WHY YOU LIKE HIM? I'M A PIECE OF TRASH MYSELF AND I FAIL AT LIFE, BUT HE'S GARBAGE MAN, I HAVE BRAIN DAMAGE SO I'M GOING TO TYPE OUT THE HORRIBLE TASTE I HAVE IN CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT", this says it all.

In the end, considering a lot of the people that criticize the character have ecchi/hentai animes labeled as favorite, I wouldn't be surprised if they couldn't use the minimum percentage of brain activity, let alone having functional brain cells.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Obito finally died, not completely atoning for his sins, but achieved redemption regardless. It was a good run, from ally to villain and back to ally, looking back into the manga, he has achieved quite a lot of "good" and "bad" things.

Sasuke and Naruto are finally going to lead the charge, with Kakashi being a little useless there and Sakura being wounded with no chakra left.

This will be interesting to know as to what will happen to those two.

Overall 4/5 Chapter, slow paced story but nicely told, filled with a depressive atmosphere and ended with a comeback.

YES. EVERYTHING YOU SAID. BLESS YOUR SOUL.

T____________T

I was tearing up most of the chapter, but I started straight up sobbing at the end when Obito was reunited with Rin. That was so beautiful. I'm so happy Kishimoto included that.

Obito is definitely one of my favorite characters in Naruto - he probably already was previously, but especially after this chapter. I really didn't imagine that happening when Tobi was first revealed as Obito. In fact, I began to dislike Tobi around the time Nagato died and Tobi stobbed being quirky and fun. Realizing now that Tobi is Obito enlightens me to the fact that Obito is one of the most developed characters in this series of largely banal, one-dimensional characters.

Black Zetsu's words to Obito right before he died really stung and weighed heavy on me, perhaps because everyone knew it was true. Obito lived a tragic life having sacrificed everything because the person he cared most about was killed and he couldn't understand why. Everyone would know him as a villain and despise him. Even most of the Naruto fanbase dislikes him. Screw them, Obito wins.

Who was that guy in the baackground on the 6th page?

Sakura.

She wasn't on a cliff last chapter and was on Kaguya's right side.

Yeah, last chapter. Naruto and Kaguya would also feel any other chakra-signature.
